Jayme Adelson Goldstein
I love this album because of the generosity of all who participated in making it-- using art to give legal aid to the children the US has separated from their families. Their action makes each song on the album a quiet anthem to the right of a child to sleep safely through the night.
Favorite track: Raisins and Almonds.
In troubled times, when even the crickets have gone quiet, a lullaby is meant to soothe the worried mind. We sing for the fearful child, for the helpless adult. When the light has gone out, a loving voice can be our guide through the night.
